Brew Quality Pipe
Associated Tube Canada (ATC) produces Brew Quality (BQ) pipe ½” through 6” IPS x Sch5s. BQ pipe IS NOT standard A312 pipe. Associated Tube Canada manufactures and certifies BQ pipe to TP-60 specification. BQ pipe is produced under tight manufacturing practices to ensure the integrity of dimensional tolerances, surface finish requirements, special chemistry and special packaging as outlined by TP-60. ATC BQ pipe is typically characterized as having a 40 RA maximum inner diameter surface roughness, well below the maximum roughness limit of 90 Ra micro inch. Product is stocked in grades T304/T304L, T316/T316L, and in 6% molybdenum grades Cronifer® 1925 hM0, AL6XN®, or Incoloy 25-6HN®. Sulfur content complies with TP-60 requirement of .005 to .017% by weight.
